Job description
- Support calls and requests through the ticketing system, ensure their qualification, resolution or escalation by applying best practices for managing knowledge;
- Intervene on workstations, peripherals, printers, meeting rooms as well as during user onboarding and check-out;
- Manage requests related to Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive;
- Follow up on requests until they are closed and document the interventions carried out;
- Update the knowledge base, including articles, guides, and how-tos;
- Maintain IT equipment inventory;
- Enforce security policies, including multi-factor authentication, software updates, and antivirus;
- Participate in deployment projects and update campaigns;
- Assume operational responsibility for one or more user-facing applications;
- Train users and produce information materials;
- Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing the causes of recurring problems and proposing preventive measures;
- Ensure the proper functioning of the applications under his/her responsibility, including updates, license management, documentation and compliance with service levels;
- Apply ITIL processes related to incident, request, problem, change, asset, access and knowledge management;
- Collaborate in the various business processes according to established responsibilities.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
- Have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in first-level computer support for users, including ticket and call management;
- Hold a college diploma or a diploma of vocational studies in a relevant field;
- Demonstrate experience working on workstations, peripherals, printers, meeting rooms, as well as user onboarding and offboarding;
- Master the Microsoft 365 suite, including office applications, collaboration tools, email and calendar services, as well as security and security tools. management;
- Knowledge of computer technologies related to workstations, networks, databases, applications and security;
- Use Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange and Intune;
- Have experience with a ticketing system such as Octopus;
- Hold an ITIL certification or be willing to obtain one (a strong asset);
- Demonstrate excellent collaboration and teamwork skills;
- Demonstrate a proactive and autonomous attitude;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation and professional communication with customers, suppliers and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
