Job description
- Administer, automate, industrialize, configure and manage the company's on-premises and cloud infrastructures;
- Administrative, configure, and manage physical and virtual Palo Alto firewalls with full control of the environment, in accordance with established processes;
- Follow up on cases with multiple stakeholders;
- Support teams for firewall openings (understand and analyze flows);
- Support NOC teams (level 2/level 3);
- Develop new services to contribute to the continuous evolution of CDPQ's cloud platform and its stability;
- Promote the autonomy of teams through the industrialization of ways of doing things, support and automation (devsecops);
- Master the relationships between the environments under his/her responsibility;
- Act as an expert, proactively check the environment, analyze service reports, monitor their status and apply patches according to established processes;
- Analyze and diagnose operational issues related to the cloud platform;
- Monitor the introduction of new services, upgrades, and features into the environment. Evaluate, test, qualify and manage the deployment of the latter;
- Ensure that processes and documentation are documented and kept up to date;
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and positioning as well as alignment with the responsible teams;
- Provide 24/7 rotational support for cloud platform incidents;
- Perform any other related tasks.
- Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role;
- Be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator;
- Demonstrate the ability to solve problems and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Working efficiently in a Mac OS environment;
- Have a basic knowledge of UX/UI best practices, responsive design, and HTML/CSS (asset);
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
