Job description
- Manage the server lifecycle (creation, patching, remediation, and retirement);
- Ensure responsibility and maintenance of the printing solution;
- Keep the Intune infrastructure segmented by patching, deploying packages and scripts, and generating reports for virtual and physical desktops;
- Participate in local and global projects to implement server-based solutions;
- Provide expert support, manage and scale supported applications and servers, extending actions to desktops and end users;
- Assess situations and changes initiated by other IT teams that may impact servers and solutions within its scope, and proactively recommend appropriate actions;
- Adhere to strict change management and application lifecycle deployment processes.
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Have more than seven (7) years of experience in expert technical support and administration of Microsoft Windows (Windows 10 and Windows 11) clients;
- Possess more than five (5) years of experience in expert technical support and administration of Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022 servers;
- Have more than three (3) years of experience in expert technical support and desktop management via Intune, including deploying patches, packages, running scripts, generating reports, and operational tasks daily life;
- Be proficient in PowerShell and system scripting languages in order to create, understand, adapt, and deploy scripts to workstations;
- Have in-depth expertise in IT infrastructures, including network and firewall concepts (networks, firewall rules, etc.);
- Demonstrate strong experience in administering the LRS printing solution (important asset);
- Know the ITIL methodology, in particular the processes for managing incidents, problems and changes;
- Have a strong background in Active Directory, including managing users, groups, group policies (GPOs), and computer objects;
- Be familiar with application lifecycle processes, including migration and upgrades;
- Possess a good knowledge of project management concepts;
- Experience in configuring and supporting network printers;
- Demonstrate customer focus, a positive attitude, commitment and excellent team spirit;
- Be available to work and perform certain tasks outside of normal business hours (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.);
- This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
