Job description
- Develop and deploy features in Scrum mode while respecting non-functional requirements and service levels;
- Design innovative technological solutions and ensure quality through automated unit testing;
- Participate in the evolution and optimization of the application architecture;
- Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business needs into technical solutions;
- Perform proofs of concept (POC);
- Challenge architecture choices to ensure performance, high availability, and resiliency;
- Lead incident management and animate post-mortems;
- Keep technical documentation up to date;
- Share technical expertise and contribute to the development of the team's skills.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field;
- Possess between three (3) and five (5) years of experience in software development with an expected senior level;
- Be proficient in Java (8 and above), Spring Boot, APIs and microservices architectures;
- Have expertise in front-end development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular or React;
- Have experience with JMS, IBM MQ or Kafka messaging technologies;
- Master DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Git, GitHub Actions or Harness, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Vault);
- Be familiar with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, and Splunk;
- Have experience with AWS as well as SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Redis) and Istio;
- Understand testing practices and security concepts (KMS, SSO, encryption);
- Have experience in Agile methodologies and advanced DevOps practices;
- Demonstrate excellent communication, technical leadership and self-reliance skills;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across the market. Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
