Job description
- Analyze existing manual test scenarios;
- Design and develop test automation frameworks;
- Implement automation of telecommunications equipment certification processes;
- Ensure the scalability, efficiency and performance of automated solutions;
- Contribute to the evolution of the automation platform based on Robot Framework and Python;
- Translate network commands and expected results into automation scripts;
- Collaborate with technical teams to optimize approval processes.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information technology;
- Have at least five (5) years of experience in automation;
- Master Python development;
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with Robot Framework;
- Use Ansible in an automation context;
- Understand automation principles and associated best practices;
- Be familiar with automation libraries and frameworks such as pyATS or Cisco solutions;
- Master network automation libraries such as Netmiko, Paramiko, and TextFSM;
- Experience configuring routers and switches;
- Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols such as IS-IS, BGP, VLAN, LACP, STP and Trunking;
- Understand networking concepts related to the deployment and configuration of network equipment (an asset);
- Knowledge of IP dynamic routing protocols (an asset);
- Be proficient in VLAN concepts (an asset);
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Work effectively in a structured development environment;
- Be able to turn manual processes into automated solutions;
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a rigorous approach.
