Job description

  Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities: 
  • Ensure a common understanding of the vision, governance, technology directions, scope and planning of the project among all stakeholders;
  • Coordinate all stakeholders to ensure consistency of work, rigorous risk assessment and realistic timelines aligned with strategic objectives;
  • Develop, maintain and obtain approval of project plans (objectives, deliverables, budgets, timeline, governance structure);
  • Facilitate kick-off, follow-up, risk management and closing meetings;
  • Continuously supervise the progress of the work and make the necessary adjustments to meet the tight schedule;
  • Produce monitoring reports, reports, dashboards and decision-making files for governance bodies;
  • Formulate strategic recommendations and actively participate in decision-making on highly technical and complex projects;
  • Proactively manage timelines and communicate effectively with stakeholders in case of time or cost conflicts;
  • Regularly present to senior management (VPTI) the overall status, critical risks and any issues requiring strategic intervention;
  • Continuously monitor project performance (scope, costs, schedule, quality, risks, outstanding issues);
  • Validate that the delivered results strictly meet functional and technological requirements;
  • Proactively identify, document and manage risks, issues and change requests;
  • Propose the necessary corrective actions and follow up on them until they are resolved;
  • Route final deliverables for approval, ensuring their quality and compliance;
  • Prepare communications for senior management, institutional partners or the media, as required;
  • Work closely with external vendors and internal partners to solve problems, optimize solutions and maintain an architecture that meets business needs;
  • Play a central role as a liaison between the technical teams, suppliers, the main supplier and the VPTI;
  • Participate in committees and working groups to capture issues, validate needs and ensure synchronization of work;
  • Ensure the perfect alignment between the needs expressed and the solutions developed;
  • Optimize the design, integration and deployment processes in partnership with the main provider;
  • Maintain a strong and structured working relationship with service providers, including preventive communication to anticipate issues;
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up of all change requests, incidents and technical issues;
  • Support the manager in the planning and execution of the transfer into operation, including ensuring:
  • Knowledge transfer;
  • Preparing application support;
  • Definition and negotiation of service agreements;
  • Plan, organize, direct and supervise the work of the internal and external team, in collaboration with the director;
  • Recommend the optimal use of the time bank and mobilize strategic internal expertise at the appropriate time.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
  • Have at least fifteen (15) years of experience in managing large-scale projects:
  • Have at least five (5) years of experience in the healthcare sector, a strong asset given the regulatory and organizational imperatives associated with this high-risk project;
  • Demonstrate a mastery of project management of complex technological developments and tailor-made solutions;
  • Proven experience in managing projects involving complex technology architectures, multi-system integrations, and highly operationally interdependent environments, where coordination between multiple internal and external partners is essential;
  • Have successfully completed at least three (3) projects each totaling 5,000 person-days;
  • Have recognized expertise in risk management, strategic project governance, and coordination of deliverables for internal and external teams;
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure effective governance in complex and multidisciplinary contexts.
