Job description
- Carry out project planning and management, ensuring that project management methodology is applied in accordance with PMI requirements (areas: integration, content, deadlines, costs, quality, human resources, etc.). communications, risk and procurement);
- Ensure the mobilization and management of a team or several project teams on a matrix basis and ensure the coordination of all internal and external resources required for the smooth running of projects;
- Comply with current project management practices and processes;
- Manage budgets and related administrative processes;
- Contribute to the evolution and development of approaches and methods leading to sound and effective management of projects/programs under his/her responsibility and support other areas of the company in the application of the principles of project management;
- Ensure the implementation of adequate governance for the sound management of the project;
- Ensure accountability for the projects under his/her responsibility;
- Perform all tasks and responsibilities inherent to his/her mandate or that may be entrusted to him/her.
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience, including four (4) years in large-scale project management and a context similar to the mandate, and having completed 1 relevant mandate;
- Have a skill in turnaround large projects;
- Demonstrate an Agile approach and good ability to supervise inexperienced contributors;
- Be experienced in dealing with difficult situations;
- Have the ability to coordinate and mobilize a project/program team in matrix mode;
- Demonstrate knowledge of MS-Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Teams;
- Experience with Agile methods (SCRUM, Kanban, Lean);
- Have experience with Macroscope methodology, data and analytics;
- Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, management, or an appropriate discipline. A college diploma and a minimum of six (6) years of experience are also accepted as equivalent to a bachelor's degree;
- Understand organizational issues and be able to negotiate, influence and decide in difficult situations (budgetary issues, resource issues, etc.);
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with project teams and stakeholders;
- Have a leadership focused on delivering value with a spirit of synthesis, great organizational skills and autonomy.
