Job description
- Act as the lead for the business delivery of the initiative and ensure strategic alignment, executive sponsorship, profit realization and achievement of business results;
- Promote the vision of transformation and foster organizational adoption to ensure sustainable change;
- Define and approve the business case, scope, roadmap, priorities, expected results and success indicators;
- Ensure alignment between business needs, operating model, regulatory requirements, technology directions and enterprise architecture;
- Obtain commitment from management and key stakeholders;
- Approve strategic decisions related to scope, budget, schedule, priorities, governance milestones, procurements, and Go/No-Go decisions;
- Remove organizational obstacles, arbitrate priorities and support teams in solving issues;
- Oversee the planning, monitoring and realization of financial, operational, regulatory and customer experience benefits.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
- Possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience;
- Demonstrate executive leadership and the ability to engage stakeholders in complex environments;
- Exercising strategic thinking oriented towards business value creation and organizational transformation;
- Master the principles of project, program, portfolio and investment governance, including business cases, funding decisions and milestone management;
- Demonstrate an excellent ability to influence decision-makers and manage stakeholders;
- Be focused on achieving benefits and achieving measurable results;
- Communicate effectively with executive bodies and be able to simplify complex issues;
- Possess an excellent understanding of capital markets activities, operating models, end-to-end processes, products and controls;
- Experience with modernization programs involving the evolution of legacy platforms, process redesign, data valorization, automation and technological simplification;
- Knowledge of supplier selection processes, procurement governance and partner management in a context of transformation;
- Master the principles of profit management, including their definition, attribution, measurement, monitoring and implementation;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. French and English language skills are essential, both oral and written.
