Job description
- Define clinical and administrative issues, use cases, and expected outcomes in collaboration with clinicians, managers, and researchers;
- Ensure the definition of analytical models, machine learning projects and validation plans;
- Ensure alignment of innovation projects with organizational priorities;
- Identify workflows and the clinical and administrative teams involved;
- Document assumptions, constraints and expected benefits;
- Develop appropriate project governance with different stakeholders;
- Define roles, responsibilities, decision-making authorities and escalation mechanisms;
- Support the definition of contractual requirements with suppliers, partners and collaborators;
- Ensure the preparation of statements of work, service agreements and security assessments;
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure compliance in intellectual property, sourcing and clinical responsibilities;
- Ensure that privacy frameworks, access controls and privacy safeguards are in place;
- Evaluate regulatory requirements and coordinate required approvals;
- Lead the technical feasibility assessment, including infrastructure, software platforms and integration needs;
- Identify technical dependencies, constraints, standards to be met and preliminary cost estimates;
- Ensure compliance with software development, security, validation, quality assurance, and change management standards;
- Identify, document, and mitigate risks related to clinical security, privacy, cybersecurity, operations, and vendors;
- Contribute to preliminary estimates of costs, resources and schedules.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project management;
- Have at least eight (8) years of experience in information technology in the field of health or digital health;
- Demonstrate experience in initiating or structuring technology or health innovation projects, from design to implementation preparation;
- Understanding health technology environments and clinical workflows;
- Experience working with clinicians, operational managers, and multidisciplinary teams;
- Knowledge of digital health, clinical systems or health data governance (an asset);
- Knowledge of the standards of systems and equipment in the health network (an asset);
- Demonstrate strong experience with health-related software systems, digital platforms, or modern, legacy IT systems;
- Understand the concepts of interoperability, data security, and system reliability in clinical settings;
- Demonstrate an ability to lead exploratory health technology initiatives;
- Excellent facilitation, stakeholder mobilization and consensus-building skills;
- Be able to navigate complex governance and approval processes;
- Understand regulatory requirements for privacy and protection of personal health information;
- Experience in the public sector or in a university centre in the health network;
- Adopt a structured and pragmatic approach to risk management;
- Be able to work in a bilingual French-English environment;
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Produce clear documentation for executive, clinical and governance stakeholders;
- Experience in early experimentation with artificial intelligence solutions applied to healthcare IT (an asset).
