Job description
• Design and implement front-end interfaces in React, Redux, JavaScript and HTML, as well as data integration and consumption solutions using APIs, microservices and Kafka;
• Develop pipelines that support the automation of continuous integration (CI), automated testing (TDD), and continuous deployment (CD);
• Maintain technical knowledge related to the API, DataPower, Kafka, SOA, and MQ ecosystems, including internal and external integration points;
• Ensure visibility of technical debt to stakeholders;
• Support the application support and IT operations teams in diagnosing and resolving operational problems;
• Support the Data Architecture Advisor in modeling data flows between applications.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer science or an equivalent field;
• Master software engineering and object-oriented development concepts;
• Have advanced knowledge of Java;
• Experience implementing modern software ecosystems including domain architecture, microservices, APIs, streaming, cloud technologies, real-time data feeds, and API and microservices orchestration;
• Knowledge of agile development, source code management, and DevOps platforms, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, Nexus, Artifactory, Docker, and EKS;
• This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. French and English language skills are essential, both oral and written.
