Expert Business Analyst

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :

• Analyze the business needs of customers and partners in order to recommend suitable solutions;
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements and feed the order book;
• Perform impact analyses, identify discrepancies and propose improvements to existing systems;
• Produce functional analyses and ensure alignment between requirements and deliverables;
• Participate in refinement, planning and assessment of new needs;
• Accompany partners in defining requirements and question solutions when relevant;
• Develop and execute test plans and scenarios, ensure validation and quality control;
• Document requests, maintain documentation in JIRA, and keep track of changes;
• Adhere to established architectural consultant orientations and targets.

• Hold a university degree in a relevant field and more than 10 years of relevant experience;
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis and technical analysis in the delivery of large-scale projects;
• Have experience in the banking industry;
• Know brokerage and different account types, including cash, RRSP and TFSA accounts;
• Master the production of quality functional documentation;
• Demonstrate autonomy to search consoles and application logs, including Splunk and Datadog;
• Experience in test case design and user support;
• Know RESTful services (JSON) and APIs;
• Be proficient in SQL to query a database;
• Develop strong analytical, synthesis and communication skills;
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and effective priority management;
• Have experience in an Agile environment including Scrum, Kanban or SAFe;
• Use Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence;
• Demonstrate experience or a strong interest in the development of the ORION trading platform (an asset).
