Job description
- Review system driver scenarios and test cases;
- Write test plans;
- Review testing strategies;
- Write test cases and run them;
- Document anomalies and track them until they are resolved;
- Perform exploratory and non-regression tests;
- Give support to the system driver team;
- Guide system drivers to best practices;
- Participate in the optimization of work processes;
- Update quality assurance documentation;
- Hold an undergraduate degree (bachelor's degree) in computer science, information systems, software development or an equivalent field;
- Have at least eight (8) years of experience as a quality assurance analyst in the field of information technology;
- Participate, as a quality assurance analyst, in at least two (2) mandates of a minimum of 1,000 person-days each, including a contribution of at least 220 person-days per mandate;
- Carry out, within the framework of a mandate of at least 220 person-days as a quality assurance analyst, the planning and development of testing strategies at all levels (functional, regression, performance, stress, load and security);
- Produce key QA deliverables, including quality plans, test plans, test strategies, tracking reports, and QA metrics;
- Design test datasets;
- Learn about acceptance testing and the Azure DevOps tool.
- Develop test cases;
- Be proficient in, or have relevant training on, TFS, Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), and Azure DevOps tools (Udemy training may be offered);
- Hold a quality assurance certification (asset);
- Hands-on experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) (asset);
- Proficiency in functional test automation tools or practices (asset);
- Carry out a mandate of a minimum of twelve (12) months within a governmental or paragovernmental organization (asset).
