Job description
• Lead, define and coordinate project initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives;
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce comprehensive reports on progress and results;
• Proactively identify, assess and mitigate project risks;
• Quickly detect and resolve project and program issues to minimize impacts on their progress;
• Contribute to the development and validation of business cases to support informed decision-making;
• Make recommendations regarding the start, extension or termination of projects based on their performance, financial objectives and risks;
• Manage the financial aspects of projects and programs by ensuring alignment with departmental budgets and assessing financial impacts throughout the life cycle;
• Collaborate with the architecture, finance, procurement, project and operations teams to ensure consistent project delivery;
• Maintain strong relationships with IT stakeholders, vendors, and partners to foster effective communication and achievement of goals;
• Ensure compliance with the Project Management Office (PMO) methodology throughout the project and program lifecycle;
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget and according to the required quality standards;
• Perform project close-out activities, including the smooth transition to operations.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
• Experience in deploying information technology applications in the areas of human resources, services, finance, legal affairs and engineering;
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, including AWS (an asset);
• Proficient in business intelligence and data warehousing technologies (an asset);
• Lead the implementation, integration and continuous improvement of engineering solutions such as PLM, MES, CAD/CAE and ECM;
• Have expertise in SAP environments, both cloud and on-premise, as well as integration mechanisms;
• Know ETL data migration processes and tools (extract, transform, and load);
• Have expertise in organizational change management (OCM);
• Master application delivery and service maintenance practices;
• Use Microsoft Project Online (an asset);
• Have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in information technology project management; ten (10) years (an asset);
• Experience in large-scale corporate environments;
• Manage end-to-end technology projects in the areas of the supply chain, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and distribution;
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications;
• Facilitate workshops, design sessions and solution reviews;
• Administer vendor deliverables, contracts, and service level commitments;
• Oversee large programs with multiple project teams;
• PMP certification (an asset);
• Support change planning, transition, communication, training, and organizational adoption activities;
• Ensure the readiness of business areas and the adoption of new processes and systems;
• Coordinate data conversion and migration initiatives;
• Collaborate with operations and support teams to ensure a smooth transition to production environments;
• Support and coordinate unit testing, integration, user acceptance (UAT), deployment and post-implementation support (hypercare) activities;
• Have an excellent understanding of project governance, RAID registries, and tracking reporting;
• Respect methodological frameworks and project management processes;
• Manage and report on performance indicators and quality metrics from large volumes of data (an asset);
• Act as the main point of contact between business users, technology teams and external vendors;
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English;
• Effectively tailor communications to the intended audience;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, nearshore, offshore resources and suppliers;
• Work effectively in a global and matrix environment;
• Coordinate activities with other project managers from different organizations;
• Manage teams sharing responsibilities on multiple projects simultaneously;
• Administer the scope of supplier mandates as well as delivery schedules;
• Demonstrate a structured approach and strong documentation and reporting capabilities;
• Demonstrate initiative, rigor and results-oriented;
• Ability to evolve independently in a global matrix organization;
• Adapt flexibly to an ever-changing environment;
• Possess knowledge of ERP systems and engineering platforms;
• Master business process mapping and optimization;
• Knowledge of risk and change management practices;
• Manage vendors, contracts, RFIs, and RFPs;
• Make decisions based on data analysis;
• Demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills.
