Senior Business Analyst

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :

• Collaborate with risk management teams and information technology stakeholders to understand the objectives, issues and requirements related to operational resilience;
• Lead workshops to discover, validate and refine business needs;
• Collect, document, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements;
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications;
• Ensure the traceability of needs from their definition to their implementation;
• Document current processes and identify opportunities for improvement;
• Participate in the definition of target processes supporting operational resilience capabilities;
• Perform gap analyses between current processes and target solutions;
• Assess the organizational, operational and technological impacts of the proposed changes;
• Support change management activities with stakeholders;
• Work closely with ServiceNow architecture consultants, designers, developers, and integrators to ensure a common understanding of requirements;
• Contribute to the development of functional solutions that meet the standard capabilities of ServiceNow IRM;
• Validate that the proposed solutions meet business objectives and regulatory requirements;
• Participate in demonstrations, solution reviews, user testing and release activities;
• Contribute to the alignment of solutions with regulatory expectations applicable to operational resilience;
• Prepare and maintain analysis documentation, governance deliverables, and project artifacts;
• Act as a point of liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.

The profile you are looking for is as follows:

• Have significant experience as a business analyst in complex technology projects;
• Experience in initiatives related to risk management, compliance or operational resilience;
• Experience in implementation or evolution projects on the ServiceNow platform;
• Demonstrate experience in a highly regulated financial sector environment (an asset);
• Experience working with integration teams from Big Four firms (an asset);
• Knowledge of operational risk management concepts;
• Understand the principles of operational resilience (an asset);
• Proficiency in regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions (an asset);
• Perform business process modeling and optimization;
• Use the ServiceNow platform in the context of project implementation;
• Knowledge of the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) module or one of its functional areas, including Operational Risk Management, Operational Resilience, Policy & Compliance, or Third-Party Risk Management (an asset);
• Understand the concepts of ServiceNow configuration, workflow, data models, and integrations;
• Demonstrate excellent analytical skills and synthesis skills;
• Popularize complex concepts to a variety of audiences;
• Influence, mobilize and build consensus among different stakeholders;
• Autonomy, proactivity and great organizational skills;
• Adopt a customer-oriented and results-oriented approach;
• Collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary context with external partners;
• Apply Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or hybrids;
• Use Jira and Confluence;
• Master Microsoft 365 tools;
• This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
