Job description
- Contribute to the feasibility, design and implementation phases of software package development and integration projects while respecting the principles of solution architecture, infrastructure and software;
- Participate in the management of solution experiments as well as the commissioning of the cloud environments required for delivery;
- Design software components taking into account functional needs, scalability, performance and security requirements;
- Collaborate with teams and managed services providers to ensure the delivery of high-performance components;
- Provide continuous support, diagnosis and resolution of critical operational issues 24/7.
Hold a bachelor's degree in information technology or computer engineering;
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant information technology experience;
- Have experience in developing solutions covering the feasibility, design, construction and delivery phases;
- Knowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns such as distributed architecture, microservices, API integration, event-driven architecture, and streaming;
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and Redis database technologies;
- Know Agile and SAFe development methods;
- Knowledge of mobile device push notification systems (an asset);
- Apply the principles of DevOps and SRE practices in an application development context;
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, synthesis and recommendation skills;
- Have the ability to listen and have a good understanding of business issues;
- Proficiency in C# and related frameworks;
- Use an API gateway platform such as Apigee, Traefik, API Gateway, or Kong;
- Leverage an event platform such as GCP Pub/Sub, Event Hub, Service Bus, or Kafka;
- Apply collaborative development practices including programming standards, code reviews, pull requests, pair programming, TDD, code coverage, and OWASP;
- Master observability principles and tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and OpenTelemetry;
- Secure APIs using OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML 2.0;
- Develop containerized APIs and services on cloud infrastructures with Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, AKS and Helm;
- Deploy solutions on cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure;
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub, ArgoCD, and Terraform;
- Demonstrate versatility, autonomy and mobilizing leadership.
