Job description
- Provide level 1 and 2 functional and technical support for production environments;
- Act as the first point of contact for production incidents and coordinate their resolution with the Level 3 development, infrastructure, and support teams;
- Proactively monitor applications, production environments, data streams, and performance to ensure availability and stability;
- Analyze incidents, participate in root cause analysis and follow up until they are resolved;
- Document incidents, procedures, and operational processes;
- Collaborate with upstream and downstream application teams to ensure continuity of data flows;
- Participate in updates, upgrades, migrations, and application and infrastructure improvement projects;
- Participate in new version deployments, perform post-deployment validations and ensure associated communications;
- Collaborate with development teams to track fixes and improvements;
- Participate in computer recovery (DRP) and business continuity (BCP) exercises;
- Coordinate server maintenance activities with infrastructure teams and ensure application stability after interventions.
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Application Production Support Analyst (APS) in the financial sector;
- Provide Tier 1 (L1) and Tier 2 (L2) application support in a production environment;
- Be proficient in Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems;
- Proficient in Oracle and SQL databases, especially for writing and executing queries;
- Use support and operational tools such as ServiceNow (or equivalent incident management tool), AutoSys, Dynatrace, and Jenkins;
- Be able to use file transfer protocols and tools such as CFT, FTP and SFTP;
- Use Perl, Python, and PowerShell scripting languages for task automation;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. French and English language skills are essential, both oral and written.
