Job description
- Lead and oversee large-scale strategic IT programs composed of multiple projects, ensuring their alignment with organizational priorities and business objectives;
- Establish and maintain programme governance structures (steering committees, executive reports, risk management and decision-making processes);
- Collaborate with relationship managers, executives, and technology stakeholders to define roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, and expected outcomes;
- Drive program planning, financial management, resource forecasting, and execution oversight across multiple work streams and teams;
- Manage interdependencies between projects, operational initiatives, suppliers and business functions to ensure coordinated delivery;
- Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies at the program level;
- Act as the primary point of contact for executives and executive stakeholders, ensuring regular communication on progress, milestones, risks, and financials;
- Lead and influence multidisciplinary teams (project managers, developers, architects, analysts, suppliers and business stakeholders);
- Support organizational change management activities to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and processes;
- Ensure teams effectively use Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and Waterfall methodologies as needed;
- Maintain program documentation (governance, roadmaps, financial tracking, reporting and executive communications);
- Ensure deliverables comply with organizational standards, cybersecurity requirements, and industry best practices;
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, governance, and value creation.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field;
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe or equivalent certifications (an asset);
- Ten (10) years or more of relevant experience, including the management of large-scale IT programs and multiple concurrent projects;
- Demonstrated experience in managing company-wide strategic initiatives involving multidisciplinary teams and executive stakeholders;
- Demonstrate experience delivering solutions with Agile frameworks (SAFe, DevOps);
- Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment;
- Have a good understanding of portfolio governance, financial management, resource planning, and change management;
- Have a mastery of program and project management tools (Planview, JIRA, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, etc.) and development lifecycle methodologies;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
