Solution Architecture Advisor - Data and Cloud

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :

• Design scalable, high-performance and secure architectures and technological infrastructures;
• Drive experimentation, proofs of concept and commissioning of cloud environments;
• Recommend robust, reliable technology solutions that are in line with the organization's technological orientations;
• Act as an expert advisor and support teams and collaborators on a technical level;
• Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to ensure the quality and performance of the solutions delivered;
• Produce architecture documentation or ensure consistency and quality when done by others, in alignment with the strategic plan for information technology;
• Contribute to risk analyses and cost-benefit assessments of proposed solutions.

The profile you are looking for is as follows:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer engineering or any other equivalent training;
• Have a minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, solution architecture, and data solution implementation;
• Have demonstrated experience in solution architecture including feasibility, design, construction and delivery phases;
• Have excellent communication, analytical and synthesis skills, as well as the ability to make clear and structured recommendations;
• Have expertise in developing data pipelines using Spark, PySpark, SQL, YAML, and Parquet format;
• Proficiency in the design, implementation, and operation of relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, as well as ETL and ELT principles;
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and data load management engines such as GCP, Azure and AWS, as well as demonstrate an interest in learning BigQuery, Composer and DataProc;
• Understand concepts related to business intelligence, big data, and semantic layers, including Power BI;
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence, including MCP and machine learning (an asset);
• Have expertise in design patterns such as distributed architectures, microservices, API integration, event-driven architectures, and data stream processing;
• Knowledge of software engineering principles and practices, including Agile SAFe, peer review, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and OWASP principles;
• Have in-depth knowledge of tools for automating, industrializing, and deploying the solution delivery chain, including GitHub and GitHub Actions;
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, GKE, Docker, and Helm;
• Experience in deploying identity and access management solutions for internal and external users;
• Proficient in the deployment of network and security configurations, including landing zones, firewalls, virtual networks, DNS, DDoS protection, and OSI model concepts, as well as proficiency in several object-oriented programming or scripting languages, including Python, advanced SQL, and Bash;
• Experience with cloud tools related to FinOps practices;
• Demonstrate mobilizing leadership and an ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and different stakeholders;
• Have a strong interest in new technologies and keep up-to-date knowledge of trends in the field;
• Demonstrate autonomy, versatility, rigor and excellent listening skills.
