Solution Architecture Advisor - Data and Cloud

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :

• Design scalable, high-performance and secure architectures and technological infrastructures;
• Drive experiments, proofs of concept and the implementation of cloud environments;
• Recommend robust, reliable technology solutions that are in line with the organization's orientations;
• Act as a consultant and support teams in carrying out their technical activities;
• Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure the quality and performance of the solutions delivered;
• Produce architecture documentation or ensure its quality and consistency in alignment with the technology strategy;
• Contribute to risk analyses and cost-benefit assessments of proposed solutions.

The profile you are looking for is as follows:

• Have a minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, data solutions and solution architecture;
• Have demonstrated experience in solution architecture covering the feasibility, design, construction and delivery phases;
• Have completed a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer engineering or a discipline deemed equivalent;
• Develop data pipelines using Spark, PySpark, SQL, YAML, and Parquet format;
• Design, implement, and operate relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, as well as ETL and ELT solutions;
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS and GCP cloud technologies as well as BigQuery, Composer and DataProc services;
• Understand concepts related to business intelligence, big data, and semantic layers, including Power BI;
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence, MCP and machine learning (an asset);
• Use object-oriented programming and scripting languages such as Python, advanced SQL, and Bash;
• Apply design patterns including distributed architectures, microservices, event-driven, streaming, and API integrations;
• Master software engineering principles such as Agile SAFe, code reviews, CI/CD, and OWASP;
• Leverage automation, industrialization, and deployment tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions;
• Implement containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, GKE, Docker, and Helm;
• Deploy IAM and CIAM identity and access management solutions;
• Configure networking and security components including landing zones, firewalls, virtual networks, DNS, DDoS protection, and OSI model principles;
• Apply practices and tools related to the financial management of cloud computing environments (FinOps);
• Demonstrate mobilizing leadership and an ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams;
• Maintain an active watch of new technologies and trends in the field;
• Communicate effectively and demonstrate excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
• Demonstrate autonomy, versatility and rigor in the execution of responsibilities;
• Demonstrate strong listening skills and an understanding of technological and organizational issues.
