Job description
- Design scalable, high-performance and secure architectures and technological infrastructures;
- Drive experimentation, proofs of concept and implementation of cloud environments;
- Recommend IT solutions that are robust, reliable and in line with the organization's technological orientations;
- Act as an expert advisor, support teams and offer technical support to collaborators;
- Collaborate with external suppliers and partners to ensure the quality and performance of the solutions delivered;
- Produce architectural documentation or ensure its quality and consistency when completed by others, in alignment with the IT strategic plan;
- Contribute to risk analyses and cost/benefit assessments of proposed solutions.
- Have a bachelor's degree in information technology or computer engineering or any other training deemed equivalent;
- Have a minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure and data solution implementation and solution architecture;
- Have a demonstrated track record in solution architecture, with significant input in the feasibility, design, realization and delivery;
- Experience in containerization technologies (K8s/GKE, Docker, Helm);
- Demonstrate experience in deploying identity solution configurations (IAM / CIAM) for customer users of the solution and internal users contributing to technology solutions;
- Experience in deploying networking configurations, security policies, landing zone, firewall, vnet, DNS, DDoS, Model OSI);
- Experience in deploying cloud tools for FinOps practice;
- Have expertise in data pipeline development (Spark, PySpark, SQL, YAML, Parquet format);
- Have expertise in the design, implementation and operations of database, relational and non-relational technologies ( PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and ETL/ELT principles;
- Demonstrate expertise in cloud-based data load management engines i.e. GCP, Azure and AWS. Interest in learning GCP, BigQuery, Composer, DataProc;
- Have expertise in more than one of the programming, object-oriented and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Advanced SQL, Bash);
- Have design pattern expertise (i.e. distributed architecture, microservices architecture, API integration, event architecture and streaming, etc.);
- Have expertise in all principles related to software engineering practice, e.g. Agile-SAFe, Peer review, CI/CD, OWASP;
- Have knowledge of the concepts surrounding business intelligence, BigData and semantic layer (e.g Power BI);
- Demonstrate AI knowledge (MCP and ML) (an asset);
- Have in-depth knowledge of automation and industrialization and deployment products (GitHub, GitHub Actions, etc.) in the solution delivery chain.
