Job description
- Manage financial governance, including monthly cost reports, forecasts and quarterly rebaselines;
- Review with program managers and project managers monthly performance indicators (accuracy of schedules and costs, variances);
- Establish performance indicators (KPIs) and produce the required reports;
- Support the Program Manager in the production of portfolio reports, including reports for internal and external governance as well as weekly progress reports;
- Support and provide training to program managers and project managers regarding financial processes, such as provisions, year-end carry-overs, funding requests, and project closures;
- Ensure the maintenance of centralized project documentation and approvals (SharePoint, Vault, etc.);
- Support user access management, including onboarding and departure of resources, when required;
- Support procurement activities, including purchase requisitions (PRs), purchase orders (POs) and invoice approvals;
- Support project funding requests, including the determination of capital expenditures (Capex) versus operational expenses (Opex) and multi-year commitments;
- Respect the Project Management Framework (PMF) throughout the project and program lifecycle and train new resources, as needed, on PMO methodologies;
- Support project teams in planning schedules, costs and resources (resource capacity planning);
- Manage the program's SharePoint.
- Hold a Project Management Certification (PMP);
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in planning, administration and coordination;
- Have experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A);
- Experience as a PCO (Project Control Officer) in IT projects using MS Project (required);
- Experience as a PCO in a large program;
- Maintain records of risks, actions, issues and decisions (RAID);
- Demonstrate a good command of Microsoft tools, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
- Be able to evolve in a global organization with nearshore and offshore teams;
- Collaborate effectively with other PCOs and project managers within the BIS organization;
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, collaboration, communication and documentation skills;
- Master MS Project;
- Experience with Power BI (asset).
