Job description
- Define, structure and evolve the practice in architecture and engineering of data and AI solutions in line with the orientations of the Artificial Intelligence Consulting Group;
- Act as a technical and strategic reference for data architecture, pipelines, modern platforms, and AI environments;
- Frame the practices' approaches, standards, working methods and best practices in order to ensure the quality, consistency and sustainability of the solutions delivered;
- Support teams in the design and implementation of robust, scalable and customer-friendly data solutions;
- Collaborate with other practices in the AI group to ensure the consistent integration of data foundations with artificial intelligence solutions;
- Contribute to the evolution of AI service offerings based on market trends and emerging customer needs;
- Participate in business development by supporting proposals, positioning processes, client presentations and strategic opportunities;
- Maintain an active watch on emerging technologies, tools and approaches in architecture and data engineering;
- Contribute to the development and outreach of internal expertise by sharing knowledge, supporting resources and showcasing achievements;
- Represent Cofomo in events, communities of practice or industry initiatives related to data, architecture and artificial intelligence.
- Have a university background in computer science, engineering, data science, AI or a related field;
- Have three (3) to six (6) years or more of experience in the field of AI, including experience in data and AI engineering and architecture;
- Have a proven track record in designing modern data and AI platforms, pipelines, and architectures supporting analytics or artificial intelligence use cases;
- Have a solid understanding of cloud computing environments, modern data architectures, and issues related to data and AI governance, quality, industrialization;
- Demonstrate experience in a leadership, expertise, practice lead, or technical reference role with multidisciplinary teams;
- Have a good understanding of business needs and the ability to translate complex issues into concrete and sustainable solutions;
- Experience in consulting or consulting is a strong asset;
- This position is part of a predominantly French-speaking work environment. However, it requires a functional command of English to ensure effective understanding of specialized instructions, plans, technical diagrams and documents written in that language, including those issued in another province;
- Ensure a physical presence at the office at 1000 de la Gauchetière a few days a week.
