Job description

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities: 
  • Participate in the design and automation of daily processes to improve the efficiency of platforms
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and design automated solutions
  • Analyze user requirements and ensure production readiness
  • Provide L1/L2 level support on DevOps platforms globally
  • Ensure the availability and proper functioning of DevOps platforms in production 24/7
  • Define monitoring and capacity management policies
  • Manage and prioritize tasks while ensuring regular follow-up
  • Deliver according to specifications and schedules
  • Deploy new versions and patches of platforms
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to their automation
  • Test automated processes to ensure robustness and compliance
  • Provide recommendations and solutions related to performance, capacity, and architecture
  • Document architectures, designs, and meeting minutes
  • Participate in projects to migrate legacy platforms to modern solutions
  • Collaborate with teams to manage incidents and quickly restore services
  • Participate in the onboarding of new users or teams
  • Manage and use monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace) and perform performance analysis
  • Keep up to date with new technologies and propose relevant innovations.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
  • Have at least five (5) years of experience in application support (APS)
  • Have certification or in-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu)
  • Have experience with Docker and Kubernetes containers
  • Have experience in IT support in a financial sector
  • Demonstrate knowledge of security and integration with CyberArk or Vault solutions via API
  • Have exposure or skills in SQL Server, Oracle and NoSQL databases
  • Understand the application lifecycle and Agile methodology
  • Ensure proper management of tasks, priorities and risks
  • Demonstrate an understanding of production processes, including change management, releases, incidents and problems
  • Proficient in the following tools: Artifactory, Bitbucket, Confluence, Fortify, Jira, Nexus IQ, SonarQube and TeamCity
  • Be able to administer and configure platforms (installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrade) and support users in the resolution of incidents and their integration (onboarding)
  • Master systems administration with expertise in Linux/Unix and a good knowledge of Windows environments
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of global infrastructures, including firewalls, network protocols, certificate management and networking concepts
  • Have a good understanding of network principles and load balancing technologies
  • Implement automation solutions including test and deployment cycles as well as tools such as Jenkins and Git, with integration with security vaults
  • Master programming and scripting concepts and develop in Python, Perl or Bash
  • Understand user and server authentication mechanisms in a secure automated deployment context
  • Understand cloud platforms and contribute to the delivery of PaaS solutions
  • Effectively use ServiceNow to manage incidents, requests, changes, and problems
  • Proficiency in Ansible scripting and Python skills (asset)
  • Hold ITIL 4 Foundation certification (asset)
  • Fluency in French and English for professional communications, documentation and interactions with customers, suppliers and colleagues across Canada.
