Job description

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :

  • Update the inventory of the print fleet in the CMDB;
  • Support, process, track and escalate assigned requests;
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of printers, including unclogging nozzles, replacing consumables, cleaning and checking components;
  • Diagnose and correct recurring or minor faults;
  • Keep track of printouts and restart machines in error;
  • Update intervention and maintenance monitoring tools;
  • Maintain a high level of quality and reliability on a large volume of machines.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in computer systems administration and technical support;
  • Experience with computer equipment such as computers, tablets, printers and other peripherals;
  • Have experience deploying software and applications;
  • Knowledge of call answering tools such as Octopus and demonstrate customer service skills;
  • Demonstrate an ability to clearly document information in a ticketing system;
  • Be able to use automated deployment tools in distributed environments;
  • Proficient in office software such as Office 365, MS Office and Lotus Notes;
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and network services including DNS and DHCP;
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of customer service in an office support and help desk context;
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and support skills for level one (1), two (2) and three (3) IT services;
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of IT systems architectures and infrastructures;
  • Experience in distributed systems in the health and social services network or related areas of clinical applications (an asset);
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework (an asset);
  • Understand computer and operating system infrastructures, including Windows, as well as Unix and Linux (an asset).
