Job description

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll be able to do:
  • Act as the main point of contact for business lines, ensuring strong alignment between business priorities and program delivery;
  • Support business coordination activities, including alignment between initiatives, dependency management, and prioritization between products and projects;
  • Build and manage relationships with high-level stakeholders in business and IT, fostering trust and effective collaboration;
  • Produce and deliver executive-level (executive/C-suite) level reports and communications on program status, results, risks, benefit realization and key decision points;
  • Facilitate executive governance committees and support strategic decision-making by providing clear, concise and actionable information;
  • Concrete delivery of programs and projects;
  • Maintain direct and operational involvement in the planning, execution, monitoring and control of programs and projects;
  • Define and maintain an overall company-wide program roadmap, as well as a governance structure and performance indicators;
  • Actively drive integrated planning, workflow, and delivery execution across multiple projects and delivery flows;
  • Manage interdependencies between teams (products/projects), arbitrate priorities and escalate issues in a timely manner;
  • Oversee coordination with suppliers and partners, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and delivery milestones;
  • Act as the focal point for orchestrating planning, sequencing, problem solving, and escalation in accordance with program governance;
  • Proactively manage risks, issues and changes, intervening directly when necessary to unblock delivery;
  • Promote agile practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement;
  • Ensure quality and compliance with the company's program and project management methodology and organizational standards;
  • Support organizational change management and user adoption strategies;
  • Lead the initiative from planning to execution and closing, ensuring strategic alignment and delivery excellence.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, IT or a related field;
  • Have a certification in program and/or project management (an asset);
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and governing application roadmaps, ideally in financial services, capital markets, or technology-intensive organizations;
  • Experience overseeing large-scale programs involving multiple project managers, delivery flows, and external partners;
  • Demonstrate experience in managing multiple delivery flows, internal IT teams, business stakeholders and external vendors;
  • Possess knowledge of agile frameworks and hybrid delivery models;
  • Have strong expertise in application portfolio management, roadmap planning, and strategic alignment of technology investments;
  • Proven skills in program governance, financial management, benefits realization, dependency and risk management, and security and compliance;
  • Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools (e.g., MS Project, EPM);
  • Demonstrate a demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and a commitment to continuous improvement;
  • This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
