Job description
- Administer, deploy and scale critical scheduling platforms, including Control-M in on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments;
- Install, configure, and upgrade Control-M components, including Server, EM, Agents, plug-ins, and Automation APIs;
- Administer and supervise SAP processing, including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments;
- Participate in migration and modernization projects of scheduling solutions, including SAP environments;
- Integrate scheduling platforms with business applications, databases, DevOps tools, and cloud environments;
- Ensure the stability, performance, availability, and resiliency of critical batch processing;
- Analyze and resolve complex incidents and act as an escalation point;
- Optimize multi-system workflows including SAP and non-SAP environments;
- Defining, implementing, and maintaining scheduling and governance standards, norms, and best practices;
- Manage Control-M platform releases, upgrades, and lifecycle;
- Prioritize evolution requests in collaboration with SAP IT and application teams;
- Support and train users and technical teams on scheduling solutions;
- Write and maintain operational documentation including guides, procedures and standards;
- Popularize technical concepts and coordinate stakeholders.
- Expertise in enterprise environments with more than ten thousand (10,000) employees;
- Master scheduling tools such as Control-M and Automation API;
- Experience with ERP environments, including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, including batch jobs, processing chains, and dependencies;
- Experience with Linux, Unix, and Windows systems;
- Proficiency in automation and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, scripting, and integration;
- Experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and GCP;
- Be familiar with ITIL methodologies as well as good operating and governance practices;
- Demonstrate high agility in dynamic and loosely structured environments involving multiple stakeholders;
- Adaptability to changing priorities and changing contexts;
- Demonstrate strong autonomy and an ability to progress without constant supervision;
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and be motivated by challenges;
- Expertise in companies in the manufacturing, transportation, automotive or aeronautics sectors (an asset);
- Have worked in companies with an international presence with activities on different continents (an asset);
- Experience in multi-site environments is an asset.
