Job description

<span style="font-size:13.0pt">Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll be able to do:
  • Act as a resource person for all permanent, freelancer and supplier contracts;
  • Prepare, route and follow up on contracts, internal policies, client documents and other related documents based on established templates;
  • Explain contractual provisions and answer questions from employees, freelancers and partners by email, phone or virtual meeting;
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and up-to-date of contract records;
  • Analyze and interpret requests for contractual changes, assess their feasibility and organizational impacts;
  • Collaborate with the competent authorities and the legal department to obtain the required approvals and ensure the compliance of amendments;
  • Participate in the reformulation or adjustment of contractual clauses with the support of the legal team or its manager;
  • Identify risky or problematic provisions and propose appropriate solutions or alternatives;
  • Support internal teams by providing them with the necessary contractual information, particularly in relation to the files of permanent advisors;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of contractual processes and compliance practices;
  • Perform any other related tasks related to contract management and compliance.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
  • Hold a DEC or AEC in paralegal, university certificate in law or relevant experience deemed equivalent such as in human resources, procurement services;
  • 1 to three (3) years of experience in contract management or administration, ideally in a consulting or embedded worker management context;
  • Master Microsoft Office suite tools;
  • Be available for a hybrid work mode including a regular presence in the Montreal office;
  • This position is part of a predominantly French-speaking work environment. However, it requires a command of English to ensure effective understanding of specialized instructions, plans, technical diagrams and documents written in that language, including those issued in another province;
  • Be tolerant and receptive to others and take into account individual differences;
  • Have the ability to put the needs of clients and advisors at the heart of decisions and priorities, fostering balanced solutions that support customer satisfaction, talent engagement, and performance at the same time organizational;
  • Demonstrate the ability to process information accurately and methodically, paying close attention to clauses, data and timelines to ensure the accuracy and compliance of contract documents;
  • Have the ability to make informed decisions that take into account legal, organizational and human issues, while respecting standards, internal policies and principles of integrity;
  • Handle sensitive information securely and confidentially, with discretion and professionalism at all times;
  • Demonstrate courage and posture when making difficult or sensitive decisions;
  • Navigate politically in complex organizations;
  • Foster collaboration and openness to support collective intelligence and sustainable partnerships;
  • Adapt with agility in contexts of change and ambiguity;
  • Continuously develop skills and demonstrate intellectual curiosity about new talent management practices;
  • Mobilize a group and rally stakeholders to achieve objectives;
  • Analyzes and exercises professional skepticism in order to examine, interpret and compare contractual provisions, assess their impacts, risks and feasibility, and make relevant recommendations;
