Full stack web developer

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :

• Develop new components in the Episerver 12 / Optimize solution;
• Maintain and evolve existing components;
• Design Angular and HTML components for the Design System, in collaboration with UX/UI designers, to ensure visual, functional and accessible consistency;
• Improve the web accessibility of solutions by adhering to WCAG standards and HTML best practices;
• Perform unit tests to ensure the integrity and quality of developments;
• Collaborate with team members on pair programming activities;
• Update the Episerver / Optimizely solution;
• Establish and promote programming best practices within the solution;
• Write clear and detailed technical and user documentation;
• Use GitHub Copilot when relevant to maximize the productivity of development and testing activities;
• Participate in developing communities of practice.

The profile you are looking for is as follows:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a relevant field, or equivalent experience;
• Have five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in Full Stack development;
• Have experience developing with Episerver/Optimizely, ideally with version 12;
• Proficiency in Angular as well as Front-End HTML, SCSS, JavaScript and TypeScript technologies;
• Be familiar with Build tools and technologies, including Gulp, Node.js, and YAML;
• Demonstrate experience in setting up a Design System;
• Experience in web accessibility, with WCAG standards and HTML best practices;
• Knowledge of software engineering approaches and practices such as TDD, pair programming, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines;
• Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Copilot;
• Understand microservices-based applications, design principles, and deployment models (an asset);
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and adaptability in a changing environment;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a good knowledge of the computer and web domain;
• Be available to work in hybrid mode, three days a week in person in Montreal;
• This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. French and English language skills are essential, both oral and written.
