Job description
- Work with technology teams to assess needs and recommend appropriate security measures based on data and identified risks;
- Determine security requirements for cloud environments, applications, networks, and platforms;
- Act as a solution architecture advisor for cybersecurity initiatives and solutions;
- Produce and write security architecture deliverables, including opinions, analyses, designs, models and schematics, in collaboration with the various stakeholders;
- Propose corrective actions to guide architecture decisions and security deliverables;
- Ensure compliance with security policies, standards and guides in projects and applications;
- Contribute to the evolution of standards, design patterns, and reference architectures in cloud, application, and network security.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
- Hold an undergraduate degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or any other relevant discipline;
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in security, including at least five (5) years in security architecture;
- Have experience in security architecture covering several technology domains;
- Master cloud security in Azure or AWS environments, including shared responsibility model, workload security, security posture management, cloud networking, and identity and access management;
- Knowledge of application security concepts, including the security development lifecycle, threat modeling, application architecture review, API security, DevSecOps practices, and vulnerability management;
- Understand network security concepts such as segmentation, zoning, firewalls, proxies, WAFs, remote access, ZTNA and SASE approaches, and communications encryption;
- Master the concepts of identity and access management, data security, operating systems and endpoints;
- Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in cloud security;
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in application security or network security (an asset);
- Master security standards, frameworks and regulations, including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR and Law 25;
- Demonstrate an ability to produce architecture deliverables that are clear, structured and adapted to both technical and business users;
- Hold security certifications such as CISSP, CISM or any equivalent certification;
- Have a certification in cloud computing or application security (an asset);
- Have experience delivering in an Agile environment;
- Knowledge of the realities of a financial environment or industry with comparable security requirements (an asset).
