Job description
- Ensure the stability and resiliency of critical platforms in production;
- Automate deployments, testing, and end-to-end quality checks;
- Design and industrialize observability solutions including logs, metrics and alerts;
- Support development teams and vendors to improve the reliability, performance, and security of solutions;
- Identify, prioritize and implement technology improvements and replacement of obsolete technologies;
- Participate in technical planning with stakeholders and document common standards, practices and tools;
- Support service level objectives (SLOs/SLAs).
- Hold an undergraduate degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience; or hold a master's degree and four (4) years of relevant experience; or hold a university certificate and eight (8) years of relevant experience;
- Hold a required AWS certification.
- Experience in Java development or systems administration in distributed environments;
- Experience with observability solutions such as Splunk, Datadog, and SonarQube;
- Have experience with Git, Terraform, and Ansible;
- Master Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices;
- Have hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
- Master automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), continuous deployments, and automated testing;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding of documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. French and English language skills are essential, both oral and written.
