Job description
- Support application teams in identifying their Azure infrastructure needs;
- Design and recommend secure, resilient cloud architectures aligned with best practices;
- Analyze business needs, evaluate possible scenarios as well as the costs and efforts of implementation;
- Document architectures, technology decisions, site plans and completion tickets;
- Lead refinement workshops and popularize the guidelines to stakeholders;
- Coordinate work with security, network, operations and delivery teams;
- Manage requests to open flows, from their analysis to the follow-up of the deployment;
- Contribute to governance, security, change management and production processes;
- Participate in the evolution, standardization and automation of infrastructures;
- Conduct studies to improve cybersecurity, resilience, performance, obsolescence, and cost optimization.
- Significant experience in the design and operation of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions;
- Strong knowledge of Azure services related to networking, security, identity, and hybrid infrastructures;
- Experience with services such as Azure Virtual Network, ExpressRoute, VPN, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoint, Application Gateway, App Services, Function Apps, virtual machines, and storage accounts;
- Good command of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, OpenID Connect, SAML, Defender for Cloud and secrets management;
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code and automation with Terraform, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines and PowerShell;
- Good understanding of traditional and hybrid environments, including networking, routing, switching, and firewalls;
- Ability to produce architecture diagrams and clear technical documentation;
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, KQL and observability practices is an asset;
- Experience in FinOps and Azure cost optimization is an asset;
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks as well as ETL or BI architectures is an asset;
- Azure certification, including AZ-305 or equivalent, is an asset.
