Job description
- Produce technology architecture documents (positioning, backup plans, network topologies) for large-scale hybrid environments, both public and private
- Integrate the different technology components and clearly communicate operational changes to internal teams and the customer
- Present the infrastructure vision to executive
bodies - Support the management of technology-related
projects or programs - Delivering large-scale projects using a hybrid model (agile / waterfall)
- To play an influential role in order to navigate complex environments efficiently.
- Hold a university degree or college diploma in computer science
- Excellent proficiency in VMware (vSphere or VMware Cloud Foundation – 10 years), NSX (7 years) and vSAN (3 years)
environments - Mastery of ITIL
fundamentals - Strong experience with networking, storage, backup and recovery technologies Familiarity with server platforms (DELL VxRail, Lenovo, HPE).
- Experience with at least one public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle, OVH, Thinkon)
- Knowledge of multiple backup solutions (Commvault, Rubrik, Veeam) and backup solutions including VMware Live Recovery
- One or more VMware certifications (VCP, VCIX, VCAP, VCDX)
- Highly sensitive to cybersecurity
issues - Communication and pedagogical skills, in French and English
- Knowledge of container technologies (Tanzu, Kubernetes) is an asset
