Job description
• Manage software deployment, including installation, configuration, application updates and development of customized solutions adapted to business needs;
• Participate in the resolution of incidents and problems by proposing solutions, developing action plans and offering support to business partners;
• Configure security settings for technology environments;
• Write and maintain technical documentation related to installations and configurations;
• Analyze specifications related to technology deployments;
• Ensure backup and restoration of data in the event of system failure;
• Perform functional tests and validate the stability of the technologies in place;
• Monitor the health of the platforms using the available monitoring tools;
• Promote development best practices and ensure their adoption by the relevant teams.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
• Hold a bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline;
• Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a similar role;
• Master investigations in the context of containerized applications;
• Follow up and coordinate support tickets with external vendors;
• Use Terraform for automation and infrastructure management;
• Leverage Artifactory and GitHub in an application management context;
• Knowledge of concepts related to ETL tools and data governance;
• Develop ETL processing using IBM InfoSphere DataStage;
• Administer the DataStage and WebSphere platforms;
• Support development teams during technical investigations related to connectivity, databases, TLS certificates and proxies;
• Manage applications deployed in a three-tier architecture;
• Administer OpenShift or Kubernetes clusters;
• Maintain applications deployed on OpenShift;
• Be proficient in Bash and Ansible scripts, including Ansible Automation Platform or Tower;
• Knowledge of the IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) platform and its components, including IBM Knowledge Catalog;
• Knowledge of Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) (an asset).
