Job description
- Define and execute the strategic data management roadmap;
- Oversee multiple data-related projects and initiatives simultaneously;
- Ensure alignment between business, engineering, IT and external partners;
- Prioritize, manage budgets, timelines and program risks;
- Develop and implement an organization-wide data governance framework;
- Define roles, responsibilities, standards and data management processes;
- To ensure compliance with applicable security, privacy, and regulatory requirements;
- Establish performance indicators and data quality monitoring mechanisms;
- Oversee the management of the full data lifecycle;
- Ensure consistency and integrity of data from multiple systems;
- Promote standardization of enterprise data models and repositories;
- Support initiatives to value and exploit data;
- Identify opportunities to optimize data management processes;
- Drive initiatives to modernize data platforms and tools;
- Support the adoption of best practices in data management;
- Support teams in change management;
- Present program progress to executives and governance committees;
- Ensure proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders;
- Coordinate vendors, partners, and multidisciplinary teams involved in initiatives.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information management or a related discipline;
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in managing complex programs or projects;
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in governance or data management initiatives;
- Experience in complex technological, industrial, manufacturing, aerospace or defense environments;
- Master the principles of governance, quality, security and data management;
- Demonstrate experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external vendors;
- Possess a strong ability to influence and mobilize executive-level stakeholders;
- Experience in the space, aerospace, defense or high-tech sector (an asset);
- Knowledge of PLM, ERP, MES, PDM environments or engineering systems (an asset);
- Possess PMP, PgMP, CDMP, DAMA certification or equivalent (an asset);
- Experience with cloud environments and modern analytics platforms (an asset);
- Demonstrate strategic leadership;
- Demonstrate a corporate vision;
- Master the management of complex programs;
- Possess risk management skills;
- Communicate effectively with executive bodies;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;
