Job description
- Analyze, diagnose and coordinate the resolution of application incidents;
- Identify root causes and follow up on fixes;
- Act as a point of coordination between internal teams and the SaaS provider;
- Support escalations during critical incidents;
- Monitor the availability, performance and stability of services;
- Leverage monitoring, logging, and observability tools;
- Define and track service indicators (SLI/SLO) aligned with operational commitments;
- Follow up on incidents, vulnerabilities and requests to the vendor;
- Coordinate technical communications at major events;
- Track service commitments and remediation plans;
- Understand payment, authorization, clearing, account management, and limit flows;
- Analyze the functional and operational impacts of incidents;
- Maintain operational documentation, procedures, and runbooks;
- Automate repetitive activities when relevant;
- Contribute to the improvement of monitoring, intervention and communication processes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field, or equivalent experience;
- Have three (3) to seven (7) years of experience in IT application support, operations or production;
- Experience in a SaaS environment (a strong asset);
- Experience in credit card systems or banking;
- Demonstrate experience working with external technology vendors;
- Knowledge of Jira, ServiceNow, or similar incident and change management tools;
- Have knowledge of Splunk or other log analytics platform;
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools;
- Have an understanding of real-time and batch streams;
- Demonstrate knowledge of the credit card ecosystem and their lifecycle;
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Have leadership in critical incident situations;
- Have the ability to coordinate several stakeholders simultaneously;
- Have effective communication with technical and business audiences;
- Have a proactive approach focused on continuous improvement;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
