Job description
- Analyze hours data (time worked, assignments, capacity, etc.);
- Clean, transform and structure enterprise data, taking into account missing data, outliers and measurement biases;
- Design or improve the data model;
- Validate calculation rules (billable hours, overtime, absences, etc.);
- Update BI metrics and dashboards;
- Test and document the results.
- Understand a business need, specify its scope, assumptions, risks and success criteria, and translate these elements into clear analytical requirements;
- Master techniques for cleaning, transforming, and structuring enterprise data, taking into account missing data, outliers, and measurement biases;
- Be able to build, interpret and validate statistical models (including regression), as well as evaluate their performance (bias, variance, sensitivity);
- Demonstrate an ability to design and execute Monte Carlo simulations for scenario analysis, uncertainty quantification, and risk or buffer assessment, and to rigorously interpret the results;
- Proficient in Python for data analysis and modeling, as well as SQL for enterprise data extraction and manipulation;
- Ability to produce clear analyses and actionable recommendations, explaining assumptions, model limitations, and implications for decision-making;
- Demonstrate an ability to design and document data models (conceptual, logical and/or physical) suitable for analytical and decision-making uses;
- This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
