Job description

Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities: Are you passionate about the information technology sector and have an innate talent for finding the best professionals? We are looking for an IT Talent Hunter to join our Talent Acquisition team. As an IT Talent Hunter, you will play a crucial role in the growth of our company by attracting the best talent in the industry.

  • Actively approach potential candidates to discuss opportunities;
  • Search and identify candidates using databases, professional networks and social platforms;
  • Ensure that the applications received are relevant and aligned with the strategic needs of the company;
  • Propose innovative ideas to improve talent attraction and implement effective recruitment strategies;
  • Track and report your recruitment activity in our applicant management system.
  • Plan and conduct interviews with candidates;
  • Make recommendations on applications to hiring managers;
  • Present job offers to candidates and conclude negotiations successfully;
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process;
  • Conduct competitive intelligence to stay informed of market trends and best practices;
  • Actively participate in job fairs and other recruitment events.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition (in the IT sector, an asset);
  • Hold a college or university degree in human resources, industrial relations, management or a related field;
  • Master Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) as well as various recruitment tools;
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Be able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team;
  • Master social media, especially LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter;
  • Demonstrate determination and an ability to meet recruitment objectives;
  • Demonstrate adaptability and active listening skills in order to fully understand the needs of candidates and managers.
