Job description
- Provide front-line support to users with issues related to software workstations, clinical applications, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals;
- Collaborate in the deployment, implementation or migration of IT equipment and solutions;
- Plan, organize and perform field interventions related to the deployment, configuration and support of computer equipment (computers, printers, mobile devices, etc.) in the health;
- Ensure that interventions performed by IT teams in other departments comply with policies, procedures and service quality standards established in collaboration with Service Desk team leaders the Client's information technology;
- Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes established in collaboration with the team leaders of the Client's IT Service Center;
- Act as a resource and support to the L1 and L2 IT support teams;
- Write technical documents and procedures related to the client's IT Service Center and ensure that the common knowledge base is updated;
- Coordinate IT activities with pivotal resources in other departments;
- Participate in the development and improvement of rules and procedures;
- Troubleshoot incidents and service requests related to his/her area of expertise.
- Hold a college diploma with a specialization in computer science from a school recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport or an attestation of relevant studies whose relevance is recognized by the authority competent;
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in computer systems administration, support and technical support;
- Experience in deploying and configuring network printers (Xerox, Lexmark);
- Have relevant experience with computer equipment such as computers, tablets, printers and other peripherals;
- Experience in software and application deployment;
- Knowledge of call pickup software (e.g. Octopus, etc.) as well as customer service techniques (follow-up with users);
- Know how to clearly document the information required in a ticketing system (Octopus, etc.);
- Be able to use automated deployment tools in large distributed environments;
- Experience with office software (Office 365 including collaboration tools, MS Office, Lotus Notes, etc.);
- Have experience with Active Directory and network services (DNS, DHCP, etc.);
- Demonstrate a good understanding of IT systems architectures and infrastructures;
- Experience with TS, CITRIX, VMware, Unix, etc. network environments;
- Demonstrate strong analytical and support skills for Level 1, 2 and 3 IT services;
- Be able to understand and use, in the performance of his/her duties, the IT practices, documents, procedures and standards in force in the service.
