Job description
- Support solution architects for the digital/e-commerce/marketing ecosystem;
- Analyze business needs related to an initiative or issue;
- Collect non-functional requirements;
- Perform a pre-selection and comparison of potential technical solutions, including the selection of software if necessary;
- Design the solution architecture covering business, application, information and technology domains, using the solution architecture design document;
- Lead the design, specification and selection of information systems solutions taking into account functional, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance aspects;
- Support the project team during the specification and design phases;
- Work closely with the organization to understand organizational and departmental strategies, and agree on information systems solutions adapted to needs;
- Carry out analyses and monitoring of information systems likely to bring value to the company;
- Document solutions in the enterprise architecture tool using the ArchiMate language;
- Develop and maintain a model of the company's current and target application architecture in the company's architecture tool;
- Maintain and develop a model of the company's current and future digital architecture, and design a stable, resilient, agile and high-performance architecture;
- Support the organization in the exploitation of technologies and use its expertise in IT solutions to support organizational change and business process design;
- Understand and support the design of the software architecture, and support the development teams in the implementation of solutions;
- Estimate costs and prepare business analysis for IT solutions, taking into account infrastructure, licensing, development and support.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in project management;
- Have formal certification in enterprise architecture (e.g. TOGAF with ArchiMate) or relevant technology certifications (an asset);
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information technology, including at least five (5) years in information systems design;
- Have extensive experience in the design and implementation of informational solutions, with a specialization in e-commerce business systems;
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in implementing e-commerce (B2B/B2C) solutions, CRMs, mobile apps, websites (content and forms), and marketing automation tools;
- Have knowledge of consumer data, personal information and consent management constraints;
- Have excellent influence and communication skills, both oral and written, especially with business leaders and colleagues;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
