Senior IT Project Manager – Application Delivery

Job description
- Develop, maintain and manage detailed project plans covering defined timelines, milestones, dependencies and deliverables throughout the initiative lifecycle;
- Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and third-party vendors or system integrators to ensure effective coordination of all work streams;
- Provide regular, clear and accurate updates on project progress through status reports, dashboards and communications for executive-level stakeholders;
- Oversee carve-out initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring that delivery is aligned with the company's business objectives and IT strategies;
- Actively monitor progress, quickly identifying risks and issues, assessing their impact, and implementing mitigation or corrective measures;
- Assume responsibility for the scope, budgets, schedules, resources and overall delivery performance of projects to ensure their success;
- Ensure that all project activities and deliverables comply with internal governance models, IT policies, security standards and applicable regulatory requirements;
- Support organizational change management efforts and foster a smooth transition to operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field;
- Have a PMP project management certification or equivalent, as well as a formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) (an asset);
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project management, with strong expertise in IT application projects;
- Demonstrated experience in leading integration and/or separation initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A); experience with SAP is an asset;
- Demonstrate experience in global or multi-site manufacturing organizations;
- Experience in M&A programs, including carve-outs, asset divestitures, or system separations;
- Have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and environments;
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional, multi-stakeholder projects;
- Demonstrate an ability to collaborate effectively with senior executives, technical teams and external partners;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
