Job description
Analysis and understanding of calls for tenders
- Monitor calls for tenders on the different sites and analyze their relevance.
- Enter information about each tender into the tender-oriented system in order to keep track of it.
- Read and analyze tenders (public and private) to understand their requirements, evaluation criteria and implicit expectations.
- Extract and clarify editorial, informational and compliance requirements.
- Identify areas of risk, ambiguities, and elements that need validation or clarification.
- Write, structure and optimize submission sections, including:
- firm experiences
- resource CVs
- any other narrative or explanatory content required in submissions.
- Adapt existing content to customer contexts, specific criteria and weightings
- Ensure consistency of speech, clarity of messages and demonstrated value for the customer.
- Check the compliance of deliverables with the requirements of the calls for tenders (mandatory criteria, formats, terminology, consistency of information)
- Perform cross-revisions (CVs, firm experiences, tables, appendices) to avoid inconsistencies or omissions
- Contribute to final reviews before submission.
- Use and respect corporate and client templates
- Ensure professional formatting of documents (Advanced Word)?: styles, sections, tables, pagination, table of contents
- Maintain documents that are stable, clean, and ready for deposit.
- Coordinate the collection of content from the various internal contributors
- Perform the required follow-ups in order to meet deadlines
- Work closely with stakeholders to align content quality, strategy, and compliance.
- Participate in the improvement of tools and working methods.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in drafting tenders, bids or comparable structured documents
- Concrete experience in writing proposals and valuing CVs in an evaluation context
- Experience in public or parapublic tenders (SEAO, ministries, Crown corporations): strong asset.
- Excellent command of written French (clarity, structure, rigor)
- Ability to reformulate technical content into clear, precise and convincing messages
- Ease in adapting the same content to different criteria and customer contexts.
- Microsoft Word – advanced level (styles, sections, tables, pagination, templates)
- Good comfort with collaborative environments (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Ability to quickly adopt new tools and platforms.
- Strong sense of detail and conformity
- Ability to detect inconsistencies, risk areas, and missing information
- Autonomy in managing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Excellent organization and pressure management in a multi-tasking context
- Autonomy, resourcefulness and sense of responsibility
- Very good collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt communications to different stakeholders, regardless of hierarchical level
- Ability to defend compliance requirements in a constructive way.
