Job description

Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities:
  • Support coordination across teams, dependencies, and program risks;
  • Collaborate with scrum leaders to standardize the application and maturity of agile practices across teams;
  • Solve with the scrum leaders the organizational problems submitted, over which the team has no influence;
  • Improve and support dependencies and coordination/harmonization of activities between teams;
  • Identify, track, and mitigate program impacts, interdependencies, and risks across teams, vendors, and platforms;
  • Report issues to higher levels quickly and strategically, establishing clear decision-making paths for management;
  • Liaise with management and finance managers;
  • Transpose measures of progress, risk and value delivery between technical teams and institutional partners (Finance, Governance), and ensure that the information is aligned with the needs for high-level management and control;
  • Maintain and communicate overall value flow, performance, and delivery metrics;
  • Oversee financial tags and investment management mechanisms;
  • Align deliveries with product strategy by collaborating with product management;
  • Coordinate with product managers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure that goals, backlogs, and delivery plans align with customer value, product roadmaps, and organizational priorities;
  • Ensure practices align with the product roadmap by working collaboratively with product management;
  • Support product managers and business analysts to understand and maintain the order book;
  • Support product managers in managing customer relationships;
  • Provide concise and actionable reporting on progress, health, risk, and value delivery;
  • Tailor communications for executives, technical teams, and product managers;
  • Ensure that interested parties have a common understanding of the project and provide appropriate and timely information to governance committees and institutional groups;
  • Ensure effective communications with clients and support them in gaining community support for the project, while soliciting feedback to improve the project;
  • Match the order book and project requirements to the supplier's requirements and specifications;
  • Apply project management best practices and methodologies in traditional/waterfall, agile, and hybrid mode;
  • Prioritize and track deliveries and expenses;
  • Support product management in supplier management as required.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
  • Have seven (7) years of experience in project/program delivery;
  • Hold a leadership position for three (3) years using an agile/hybrid approach for complex cross-functional initiatives;
  • Deliver major transformation initiatives in a product management environment that includes agile and hybrid components and leverages technology to deliver value;
  • Master the use of data using tools such as Jira, Power BI, etc.;
  • Be able to coach, mentor and develop teams;
  • Demonstrate an agile initiative that is evolving in contact with traditional groups and suppliers;
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to align the delivery of the project, ensuring that requirements are clearly transcribed and deadlines are met;
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and training; asset;
  • Be proficient in Jira, Power BI, MS Project, Smartsheet or other similar tools; asset;
  • Know how to use the Google suite; asset;
  • Using Confluence effectively; asset
