Job description
- Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you will be given:
• Analyze the needs related to data ingestion, integration and transformation in a decision-making environment;
• Develop data ingestion mechanisms to a data lake;
• Design data counter feeding processes;
• Perform data modeling in a data warehouse;
• Implement data products that meet business needs;
• Participate in related activities related to the operation and evolution of the data warehouse;
• Schedule and maintain ETL processing using SQL, Python and Databricks;
• Collaborate on application deployments using DevOps and CI/CD practices;
• Develop interfaces between different systems and apply data conversion models;
• Contribute to agile teamwork by participating in Scrum ceremonies.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
• Have between four and six years of relevant experience in the development of business intelligence solutions;
• Proficiency in SQL and Python;
• Have knowledge of Databricks;
• Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and practices;
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD approaches and deployment automation;
• Demonstrate an ability to develop interfaces between different systems and implement data conversion models;
• Understand private and public cloud environments;
• Proficient in Agile Scrum methodologies and the use of Jira;
• Know the XRAY testing framework;
• Demonstrate autonomy in carrying out mandates;
• Fluency in spoken and written French;
• Experience in the realization and delivery of business intelligence mandates in large-scale environments;
• Knowledge of traditional business intelligence technologies such as ETL, data counters, cubes, dashboards, reports as well as the Microsoft BI suite (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Excel, etc.) (an asset);
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and tools such as Data Lake Store, HDInsight, Hadoop, Spark, SQL Data Warehouse, SQL Managed Instance and Azure DevOps (an asset)
