Job description

Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities that will fall to you:
  • Support integrated project planning, including prioritization, capacity management and resource allocation;
  • Collaborate with project managers in the development, updating and monitoring of plans;
  • Track the progress of projects based on scope, timelines, costs, risks, dependencies, and benefits;
  • Ensure the integrity, quality and consistency of planning data in project management tools;
  • Contribute to project start-up, monitoring, control and closure activities;
  • Establish and maintain project portfolio governance mechanisms;
  • Participate in the preparation and facilitation of governance and accountability bodies;
  • Produce the dashboards, progress reports and performance indicators required for the various bodies;
  • Prepare presentations, follow-up documents and minutes for committees;
  • Follow up on decisions, actions, outstanding items and commitments;
  • Improve indicators and monitoring mechanisms for the project portfolio;
  • Support project managers in the application of organizational, methodological and normative requirements;
  • Analyze project compliance with project management frameworks, processes, and best practices;
  • Perform quality controls on project management deliverables;
  • Document the traceability of decisions, actions, risks, issues and management information;
  • Identify deviations, recommend appropriate corrective measures and ensure follow-up;
  • Participate in quality assurance activities of management information and project documentation;
  • Consolidate and analyze management information from project teams to ensure reliability;
  • Monitor project efforts, costs, commitments and financial information;
  • Maintain management dashboards including performance indicators, progress reports, risks and issues;
  • Perform the necessary reconciliations between project data and available financial data;
  • Participate in trend analysis, forecasting and variance control;
  • Produce the financial indicators and reports required to support decision-making;
  • Supporting project managers, scrum masters and other stakeholders in the application of project management practices;
  • Use project management tools and support their adoption by teams;
  • Act as a resource person for the use of project management tools, templates and methodologies;
  • Promote the standardization of project management practices within the organization;
  • To play an advisory role with stakeholders in terms of project monitoring, control and governance.
The profile sought is as follows:
  • Hold an undergraduate degree in information technology, business administration, management or a related field;
  • Have at least seven (7) years of experience in planning, project control or project management;
  • Have completed at least three (3) mandates of a minimum duration of one year each in large-scale organizational projects in information technology;
  • Experience in organizational transformation programs or projects, ideally in a technological, public or parapublic context;
  • Understand project management methods, frameworks and best practices, including traditional, agile and hybrid approaches;
  • Use Microsoft's project management tools for planning, monitoring, reporting and management information;
  • Consolidate, analyze and present reliable, consistent and structured management information;
  • Produce progress reports, dashboards, performance indicators and management analyses;
  • Support project managers, managers and governance bodies in preparing for accountability;
  • Interpret the mechanisms for monitoring scope, schedules, costs, risks, dependencies and benefits;
  • Excellent organizational, coordinating, analytical, synthesis and rigorous skills;
  • Communicate effectively in writing and orally with various stakeholders;
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a complex, multi-team, multi-partner environment.
