Job description
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain robust ETL, ELT, and data pipeline solutions;
- Coordinate work with multiple development teams to meet delivery targets;
- Participate in the definition of requirements, estimation of efforts, development and delivery of robust and scalable solutions;
- Develop and support real-time data ingestion processes from various data sources;
- Develop and maintain data models optimized for business intelligence needs;
- Design integrations with APIs from external vendors such as Google, Facebook, Salesforce, SAP and other platforms;
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and SOX;
- Develop code that is clean, maintainable, and compliant with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices;
- To act as a leader in defining best practices and promoting an approach focused on innovation and creativity.
- Demonstrate experience in organizations with more than 10,000 employees;
- Possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information technology;
- Have at least five (5) years of experience as a data engineer;
- Experience in implementing REST API service architectures;
- Experience with cloud-based business intelligence technologies, including Microsoft Azure or an equivalent platform;
- Hold a master's degree in business intelligence or an equivalent field;
- Demonstrate strong experience with the following technologies: Snowflake, dbt, Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI and Git;
- Proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages;
- Understand and apply the principles of data modeling and the design and development of robust ETL/ELT data pipelines;
- Master the writing, execution and optimization of complex SQL queries;
- Translate business needs into advanced data models that meet the requirements of analysts and data scientists;
- Perform data profiling activities;
- Work as part of an Agile team to design and build big data and analytics solutions.
