Job description
Accompany and support the BI & Analytics team in QA best practices, coverage and deliverables;
• Lead and supervise UAT BI & Analytics testing activities in collaboration with the business sector;
• Assume a role as a senior anomaly manager and monitor them;
• Ensure consistency and efficiency of QA practices to optimize test coverage and reduce risk in production;
• Control the quality of coverage and test execution at the different stages (Story, SIT, Pre-UAT, UAT);
• Check the adequacy of the integrator system's test coverage;
• Support QA analysts in security validations in collaboration with the RSI;
• Support Product Owners in decisions to close test cases according to DoD criteria;
• Validate strategies and test plans for all panes and flows;
• Ensure traceability of all test artifacts;
• Participate in the management of dependencies and QA risks;
• Analyze performance indicators (tests, automation, defects) and recommend remedial actions;
• Contribute to the production of the weekly QA status report;
• Plan and manage cross-functional end-to-end test phases;
• Coordinate QA linkage with the different teams involved;
• Participate in the definition and alignment of the test automation strategy;
• Support quality and management of test data;
• Adopt a holistic view of quality that includes shift-left and risk-based testing.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
Have a minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in IT quality assurance;
• Demonstrate solid experience as a QA Lead in complex programs;
• Have significant experience in quality assurance in the field of property and casualty insurance and knowledge of claims system processes;
• Master QA practices, including test coverage, traceability and testing strategies;
• Experience in managing UAT and End-to-End tests as well as integrating cross-platform systems;
• Effectively use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Xray, and automation and performance tools;
• Demonstrate strong leadership, autonomy and a strong ability to influence;
• Demonstrate an action, solution, and results orientation;
• Demonstrate experience in software integration projects (an asset);
• Knowledge of the field of damage insurance (an asset);
• Proficiency in Guidewire software packages, including ClaimCenter and Contact Manager (an asset);
• Knowledge of a similar complex organizational ecosystem (an asset);
This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
