Job description
- Analyze and model data related to hardware requirements.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
- Understand a business need, specify its scope, assumptions, risks and success criteria, and translate it into clear analytical requirements;
- Clean, transform, and structure enterprise data with missing data, outliers, and measurement biases in mind;
- Build, interpret and validate statistical models, including regression models;
- Design and run Monte Carlo simulations for scenario analysis, uncertainty quantification, and risk or buffer assessment;
- Be proficient in Python for data analysis and modeling;
- Use SQL for enterprise data extraction and manipulation;
- Provide clear analyses and recommendations supported by the data;
- Design and document data models adapted to analytical and decision-making needs;
- Experience with Power BI or similar tools, including integrating analytical or statistical results into reports or dashboards (an asset);
- Document assumptions, data transformations, simulation parameters and results in a structured and traceable way (an asset);
- Work effectively in a team;
- Be agile and results-oriented;
- This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
