Job description
- Carry out project planning and management by applying a methodology that complies with PMI requirements (integration, content, deadlines, costs, quality, human resources, communications, risks and procurement);
- Mobilize and manage one or more project teams on a matrix basis and coordinate all internal and external resources required for the smooth running of projects;
- Ensure compliance with practices and compliance with current project management processes;
- Manage budgets and related administrative processes;
- Contribute to the evolution and development of approaches and methods that promote sound and effective management of projects and programs under his/her responsibility, as well as support other areas of the company in the application of the principles project management;
- Implement appropriate governance to ensure sound and efficient project management;
- Ensure accountability for projects under his/her responsibility.
- University degree in engineering, information technology, management or an appropriate discipline; a college diploma combined with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience is also considered as equivalent to the baccalaureate;
- Demonstrate fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, including twelve (12) years in managing large-scale projects in a context similar to the mandate, and have completed at least one (1) relevant mandate;
- Have expertise in turnaround large projects;
- Apply an Agile approach and demonstrate an ability to mentor and support less experienced contributors;
- Effectively handle complex or difficult situations;
- Coordinate and mobilize a project or program team in a matrix environment;
- Use MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Teams;
- Apply Agile methods such as SCRUM, Kanban and Lean;
- Master the Macroscope methodology;
- Have experience in data management and analytics;
- Hold a PMP certification (asset);
- Have a PRINCE2 certification (asset);
- Hold an ITIL certification (asset);
- Experience with the OIQ's project management methodology (asset);
- Have experience in business management or team management with hierarchical responsibilities (asset).
