JOB DESCRIPTION: Solutions Architect – Brokered Insurance Date Required: As soon as possible
The Solutions Design Department (DCS) of the Property and Casualty Insurance sector, which is in charge of the application architecture of IT solutions (software and solution), is currently looking for an experienced IT Solutions Architect. As a Solutions Architect, you will be involved in complex application architecture files related to the integration of ICPEI into the Desjardins ecosystem. You contribute to key initiatives aimed at stabilizing, standardizing and strengthening the application foundations. You must support, advise and influence project managers and teams in the development of strategies and the definition of IT architecture that meets business needs.
Responsibilities
? Support, advise and influence IT and Business Managers, Project Directors in the development of strategies
? Perform the role of Solution Architect, collaborate with other architects and experts to ensure that all solutions are compliant with business processes and meet business needs through the agreed
quality of service
? Rigorously develop solution architecture: design and build solutions that best meet the needs of the business and are aligned with strategy and roadmaps
? Develop architectural documents and maintain up-to-date architectural
repositories
? Influence business directions (business and IT)
? Develop strategies for transition, co-location, conversion and load shedding
? Manage the cost evaluations of the initiatives
? Sit on various committees, represent the IT sector in various bodies
? Apply the norms and standards in force in order to design compliant solutions that comply with Desjardins

profile
? Bachelor's degree in computer science or demonstrate equivalency
? Have 15+ years of experience in a similar
role
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills, abilities to express complex technological concepts effectively and in a manner suitable for various audiences (executive communications).
? Ability to federate a team of architects: business, solutions, infrastructure, etc.
? Proficiency in English at the advanced
intermediate level
? Proficiency in one or more architecture repositories and Archimate notation (an asset)
? Knowledge of the ACORD standard (an asset)
? Guidewire experience and/or certification (an asset)
