Job description
- Perform inventory and extract lists from the CMDB;
- Communicate with users and schedule appointments;
- Carry out rounds on sites to identify equipment and carry out the required checks;
- Ensure the delivery and deployment of new computers;
- Prepare, install and configure workstations;
- Deploy software, including installation, configuration, and application updates;
- Perform functional and technical tests to ensure the quality of deployments;
- Provide technical support to users during the deployment and use of solutions;
- Document procedures and adhere to established standards;
- Foster knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in computer systems administration and technical support;
- Experience with computer equipment such as computers, tablets, printers and peripherals;
- Master the deployment and configuration of Xerox and Lexmark network printers;
- Have participated in the deployment of software and applications;
- Knowledge of call answering tools such as Octopus and customer service techniques;
- Clearly document information in a ticketing system;
- Use automated deployment tools in distributed environments;
- Experience in healthcare environments or clinical applications (an asset);
- Knowledge of ITIL (an asset);
- Proficiency in office software including Office 365, MS Office and Lotus Notes;
- Understand Active Directory and network services such as DNS and DHCP;
- Knowledge of Windows 11, Unix and Linux operating systems (an asset);
- Demonstrate an understanding of IT architectures and infrastructures;
- Have experience with TS, Citrix, VMware and Unix environments;
- Possess level 1, 2 and 3 IT support and analytical skills;
- Understand and apply IT procedures, standards and practices;
- Demonstrate team spirit, collaboration, rigor and methodology;
- Demonstrate good judgment and a sense of synthesis;
- Master Active Directory and SCCM;
- Communicate effectively with users and IT teams.
