Job description
- Design and define solution architectures aligned with the organization's transformation roadmap;
- Understand, analyze, and document JD Edwards-based solution architectures;
- Develop target, transition and integration architectures that meet business needs and technological orientations;
- Produce architecture deliverables, including logical and physical solution diagrams, L2 to L4 level process flow diagrams, and data flow and interface mapping;
- Analyze and document end-to-end business processes supported by JD Edwards, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, and Record-to-Report, in a transformative context;
- Identify JD Edwards' capabilities that need to be realigned based on the target architecture and transition orientations;
- Define and document the integration architecture, including JD Edwards modules, external systems such as production, supply chain, and human resources management systems, and legacy applications;
- Document integration scenarios including cloud and on-premise solutions, application programming interfaces, service-oriented integration, event and messaging models, and integrations files and batch jobs;
- Describe data flows and information architecture.
- Have extensive experience in solution architecture and JD Edwards implementation, including EnterpriseOne or World;
- Demonstrate in-depth expertise in ERP integration models, including application programming interfaces, batch processing, files and event templates;
- Master the concepts of data flow, data transformation, and system interoperability;
- Have hands-on experience with legacy integration mechanisms, including JD Edwards-specific tables and files;
- Scale easily in hybrid technology environments;
- Understand the business processes supported by an ERP system, including finance, supply chain and manufacturing;
- Familiarize yourself with JD Edwards' own integration patterns;
- Effectively use SQL in the context of data analysis and transformation;
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent recognized experience;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
