Job description
- Design and maintain complex web applications using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth data flow between server and UI.
- Create interactive mockups and prototypes to test infographic concepts and simulate user workflows.
- Participate in user research, usability testing, and persona definition to ensure products meet actual user needs.
- Optimize applications for the fastest speed and ensure compliance with accessibility standards, such as WCAG.
- Ensure that applications work consistently across browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and devices.
- Liaise between designers, back-end interface engineers, and stakeholders to determine the technical feasibility of design solutions.
- Develop and maintain reusable code, UI components, and design systems to ensure application scalability.
- Actively contribute to our communities of practice for the exchange of knowledge and expertise
Required:
- At least three years of experience in a front-end and user experience developer role.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in software development, science, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent skills acquired through experience and other means.
- In-depth knowledge of Figma or other collaborative tools for UI and user experience design.
- In-depth knowledge of React.JS and TypeScript.
- In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards.
- In-depth knowledge of the interaction of server-side API interfaces (REST, GraphQL).
- Good knowledge of Python and Django framework.
- Experience with coding standards, quality management, source code management, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, release management, software development lifecycle, and agile best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to facilitate technical discussions and push through technical decisions.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills, sense of responsibility for the job, ability to see problems as opportunities and willingness to propose new ideas.
- Dynamism, eagerness to learn and ability to connect with others and work remotely with team members.
- Willingness to support diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility in the workplace, and understanding the benefits that this commitment brings to your work.
